A 2016 article in the New York Post, by Richard Morgan, was entitled, “Trump had injured condo worker wait 9 years to collect payout”. Morgan reported that, “A 51-year-old brass polisher badly hurt in 2007 while working at a Trump condo on Manhattan’s East Side had to wait nine years to collect a payout for his injuries because the billionaire developer’s company waited too long to inform its insurance carrier of the incident.”

The New York Post Article stated that, at the time, the brass polisher, “Ivan Dorador, 51,” was, after years of delay, “finally set to receive the $2.9 million he and other insurance companies settled for to compensate him for his injuries.” It also indicated that, “intransigence,” on the part of the Trump Organization, “delayed Dorador moving to collect compensation for his painful injuries until Justice Shlomo Hagler recently ordered all parties to a meeting.” The result? Morgan reported in 2016 that, “the insurance companies will pony up the cash for Dorador, and then will go after Trump for the $1 million.”
