Two nurses and one aide were charged with negligence and causing the death of an 81 year old ventilator dependent resident at A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility. They allegedly failed to respond to alarms when the resident was disconnected from the ventilator. This is another example of Nursing Home Abuse. Bedsores, Falls, Fractures and Negligence are common occurrences at many nursing home facilities, compromising the health and well being of their residents.
