The Brooklyn Bar Association hosted a pair of elder law attorneys for a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) course titled “Nursing Home Litigation Under the Public Health Law: Identifying Elder Abuse and What To Do About It” at a meeting on Remsen Street Thursday.
John Dalli and Jeanne Ramasso, both from Dalli & Marino, LLP, led a two-hour course and discussion on nursing home litigation. They focused on how to identify elder abuse and neglect in nursing homes as well as at home by health aides and what attorneys can do for their clients.
